Our way of working
A garden can bring sport, play and rest together as one landscape. Mámila designs private sports and leisure spaces within gardens in Mallorca, considering the available area, family activities and the connection with the house.
Playgrounds and minigolf in the garden
Play has a place in the landscape too. We integrate playgrounds and minigolf areas alongside sports spaces, considering paths, surfaces and their relationship with places to relax. Each proposal responds to the site and the way the family enjoys being outdoors.
Design around the way the garden is used
Before allocating a space for activity, consider who will use it and how it will fit with the rest of the garden. Distance from the house, routes and places to relax influence the layout. The aim is for active areas to belong to the overall landscape and work comfortably in everyday life.

Surfaces, planting and paths
Each activity has its own needs for surfaces, clear space and upkeep. Planting can organise areas without completely separating the people using them. Shade, access and the relationship with other installations also matter. Technical scope is considered according to the activity and the property’s conditions.
Land of play in Santanyí
This Mámila project is a 15,000 m² family garden in Santanyí. A generous sports and leisure area is integrated with architecture, planting and paths, while other spaces are reserved for gathering and resting. The photographs show how the different parts of the garden connect.
