Does a Mediterranean garden need irrigation?
That depends on the plants, soil and stage of establishment. Choosing plants with lower water needs does not automatically remove the need for irrigation. Design and programming should respond to the garden’s conditions.
Can an existing garden become easier to maintain?
Yes, a review can identify what to keep and what to change: planting, surfaces, paths or irrigation. We first consider the tasks requiring most attention and the uses you want to retain, then plan a coherent renovation.
Does this approach suit a small garden?
A Mediterranean approach can work at different scales. In a small space, plants and materials are chosen for their size, light and use. The proposal starts with the setting rather than repeating a large estate design.
